The Benew Quay Festival runs from 1 November to 1 December 2024. Most major events are held on weekends, while smaller workshops and market days take place throughout the week.
Walking along the quay and viewing the lantern displays is free of charge. Some ticketed concerts and workshops require advance booking, and the details are listed on each event page.
Booking is recommended for the harbour concerts and family lantern workshops, as places are limited. Market stalls, the lantern procession and the gallery exhibitions are open without a reservation.
The quay has level access from the main car park, and step-free routes are marked on the site map. Accessible viewing platforms are available at the harbour concerts, and staff can assist with seating on request.
Assistance dogs are welcome at all events. Other dogs are permitted on the quay during daytime market hours if they are kept on a lead, but they are not allowed inside the concert marquee.
Outdoor events go ahead in most weather conditions. If a lantern procession must be cancelled for safety reasons, we announce the change on our website and social channels, and ticket holders are offered a transfer to another date.

Getting to Benew Quay
The quay is a short walk from the town centre and is well served by local buses. Visitors arriving by car are encouraged to use the harbour car park, which is signposted from the main road.
Parking spaces fill quickly on weekend afternoons, so we recommend arriving early or using public transport.
